Drinker Biddle & Reath is an international, full-service law firm providing a sophisticated and forward-thinking approach to counsel. Building on a rich 167-year history, the firm is comprised of more than 635 lawyers across 12 offices across London and the USA.
ARTIQ Art Consultant Tazie Taysom worked alongside the client to build a collection that would create a sense of place for the office and provide a warm welcome for visitors from across the globe, particularly clients and colleagues from the USA offices.
Tazie worked collaboratively with the client, US partners and with staff to build a narrative for the art that would reflect brand focus, and communicate Drinker Biddle’s progressive approaches to the traditional field of law.
The art chosen comprises of a mix of photography and original art work which represents London through both a traditional and modern lens. Work by abstract architectural photographer Matthew Curtis Knight reflects the innovative nature of the firm and gives provenance to the London hub. The modernity of Matthew’s work is elegantly juxtaposed with the warmth of work by painter Patrick Simkins who’s thick, textured painting style provides a stunning focal point in the reception.
