HOW TO MAKE THE ART MARKET WORK FOR YOU: ARTIQ HOST EXPERT PANEL FOR UAL STUDENTS
ARTIQ were delighted to be asked by the University of Arts London to join them for the second year in a row to host a panel for Creative Enterprise Week, speaking to students at Camberwell College of Arts in November.
How to Make the Art Market Work for You explored the opportunities, challenges and varying landscapes of the art market and aimed to provide students with the insight and tools vital when making first steps into the industry, from selling work and self-promotion to how to get a business plan and portfolio together.
ARTIQ’s panel of experts included Laura Melissa Williams (Artist), Benjamin Murphy (Artist & founder of Delphian Gallery) and Samual Olsson (Digital Strategist & Head of Growth, Lifecake. The panel was chaired by ARTIQ Art Researcher, Will Ballantyne-Reid.
