ARTIQ and x+why are delighted to announce the launch of new pop-up exhibition, GAZE. Opening in October 2019, GAZE seeks to explore how womxn creatives experience both the creation and promotion of artwork.

The exhibition will profile work by a diverse array of artists who use their practice to explore the narrative and take ownership of the female ‘gaze’.

A programme of events will compliment the exhibition, including a panel talk to launch the exhibition, GAZE: Freelance and Female.

GAZE: Freelance and Female is a panel discussion and networking event for female and nonbinary freelance creatives. The event’s aim is to connect creatives, provide a platform for discussion and a space to nourish future collaborations between womxn artists.

Featuring leading female voices from across the creative industry, the panel will discuss key issues and offer advice and guidance, exploring the experiences of working and creating as a womxn freelancer. The panel will be followed by a Q&A, networking and drinks along with the chance to view the exhibition.

Speakers TBA. Keep checking back for more!
