Purpose of the role
This role will cover the period in the lead up to, during, and after the maternity leave of the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for sourcing, running and closing significant deals across all sectors at Artiq.
The core function of the role is to ensure financial revenue targets are met and exceeded, whilst nurturing a pipeline of deals ongoing; managing projects seamlessly from end to end with the Artiq curatorial and project management teams. Key to success in this role will be maintaining excellent client servicing standards, delivering profitable deals and nurturing relationships internally and externally.
You will be supported in your role by the Interim Sales and Marketing Director, sales managers (Art Collections Manager and Workplace & Hospitality Leads) and our Marketing Manager. Please note that you will be overlapping with the Commercial Director on both sides of the fixed-term maternity cover.

Working pattern
Part-time: Monday-Wednesday or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (evenings as required)
Key responsibilities
• Ensure personal sales/financial targets are met/exceeded on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Oversight and ultimate responsibility for Artiq client relationships across sectors.
• Trouble-shooting, client management support and strategy on key client accounts across all sectors.
• Regular reporting to the Board on performance and key department metrics and KPIs.
• Overseeing the continued growth and development of the Sales department.
• Being active and present in the Company, working from the office and, when relevant, with our teams/clients on client sites.
• Overseeing special projects and entry to new markets where relevant.
• Oversight and ultimate responsibility for Artiq client relationships across sectors.
• Trouble-shooting, client management support and strategy on key client accounts across all sectors.
• Regular reporting to the Board on performance and key department metrics and KPIs.
• Overseeing the continued growth and development of the Sales department.
• Being active and present in the Company, working from the office and, when relevant, with our teams/clients on client sites.
• Overseeing special projects and entry to new markets where relevant.
Detailed responsibilities
Oversight and management of large-scale sales lifecycles:
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and with a high level of client satisfaction.
Client relationship management and strategy:
• Networking, new business development and closing deals across key sectors: hospitality and workplace
• Assist Consultants across all sectors with advice, guidance and trouble-shooting on projects of all natures.
• Support Consultants to make best-case decisions regarding budget, timelines, RFP documents and charges.
• Assist in the development of all RFPs, maintaining Artiq’s standards and ensuring key deadlines for major projects and clients are met.
• Work with the CEO to manage any specific or major issues with proactive and transparent communication at all times.
Regular reporting to Sales team and SMT on against key metrics and KPIs:
• Progress against monthly/quarterly/annual targets
• Progress against personal 135 goals and actions
Events and networking:
• Be an ambassador for Artiq at real estate and hospitality sector events
Be active and present in the Company:
• Work from the office and with our teams on client sites when required.
• Attend company social events to build relationships with the wider team.
Additional responsibilities, including but not limited to:
• At all times to be seen to be acting as a role model.
• Exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• General admin.
• Have regular 1-2-1 check-ins with the Interim Sales and Marketing Director

Required experience
• 8-10 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally in the art or design industry.
• Experience of managing complex projects across the full sales lifecycle.
• Experience of closing significant deals across various sectors.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed financial revenue targets.
• Strong project management skills to manage deals from end to end.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent client servicing skills with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships.
• A network and experience in the hospitality, interior design or high-end residential sectors is desirable.
• Experience of managing complex projects across the full sales lifecycle.
• Experience of closing significant deals across various sectors.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed financial revenue targets.
• Strong project management skills to manage deals from end to end.
