The location celebrates San Francisco’s famous weather phenomenon, "Karl the Fog," with an ethereal statement light fixture and reflective art and decor. This served as the inspiration for the art collection in the venue, which focuses on light, movement, the natural world, and tactile materiality in an earthen colour palette.
The art blends seamlessly with the overall interior and lighting design while creating aesthetic points of interest for people visiting the space.

In our first project on the West Coast of the United States, our team researched the local talent landscape and sourced and commissioned works primarily from contemporary artists based in San Francisco and surrounding areas in California, such as Wendy Robushi and Martin Machado and Stephanie Potter Corwin as well as a considered selection of international artists.
This approach aligns with the city's diversity and the international brands based in the building and Convene’s approach to infusing local design elements into every location in their global portfolio.
