Amy works closely with ARTIQ’s COO, Katie Terres, to ensure the smooth running of our operations team, as well as helping with Katie’s wider workload, which includes special projects and events in hospitality, for which Amy also liaises with the wider ARTIQ team.
Born in Manchester, Amy was attracted to the creative arts since childhood, studying dance, music and theatre, before going on to take a Joint Honours BA in English Literature, Drama and the Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham. Amy worked for a leading music PR and a casting agency after graduation, as well as co-ordinating events for world-renowned marketing agency Digitas, directly before joining ARTIQ.
‘ARTIQ’s ethos of fair pay for artists, as well as offering paid internships for staff, is hugely important to me. For those of us with a working-class background, access to arts jobs where you don’t initially have to rely on private income is a major step in the right direction.’
