Artiq’s global art strategy for our client’s international workplace portfolio is brought to life through a landmark commission, spanning 20 floors of its London headquarters.

Artiq partnered with our client to develop a global art strategy that informs commissions and collections across its international office portfolio. For the client’s London headquarters, this strategy is brought to life through a series of bespoke commissions. Central to the brief was the ambition to create artworks that felt intrinsically connected to the architecture, responding to the building's materiality, refinement and the movement of people through the space.
At the heart of the collections is Auxesia, an architecturally integrated commission by Giles Miller Studio and Artiq. Spanning 20 floors across 4 interconnected stairways and crafted from over 15,000 anodised aluminium pixels, the installation is a feat of design, engineering and coordination, delivered by Artiq's in-house team. It transforms the building's circulation routes into immersive experiences that embed art directly within the fabric of the architecture.
Together, Auxesia and the wider art collection demonstrate how a strategic approach to art can be realised as a distinctive, site-specific experience, one in which art becomes an integral architectural element, creating a timeless dialogue between architecture, people and place.

Inspired by fractal and biomorphic forms, Auxesia draws on the four seasons and nature’s palette, weaving biophilic principles and research into art and wellbeing throughout the work. Thousands of reflective, petal-like elements animate the space, shifting with light, movement and perspective, so that the installation is never experienced the same way twice.

Featured in the client reception, Artiq commissioned Anna Kruhelska to create a series of bespoke paper wall reliefs. Hand-folded from archival, acid-free paper and finished in custom wooden frames, each piece is a study in precision and craftsmanship. Made in Anna’s signature white-on-white palette, the works transform with the natural light from the reception’s floor-to-ceiling windows, revealing shifting layers of contrast, depth, and shadow as visitors move through the space.
