Inspired by the surrounding coastal landscape, Artiq’s bespoke art collection transforms Purobeach Resort Santa Ponsa into a calm yet vibrant oasis, shaped by Mallorca’s natural rhythms.

Providing the experience of both an exceptional hotel and an exclusive beach club, Purobeach Resort Santa Ponsa is rooted in a philosophy of effortless enjoyment. For their bespoke art collection, Artiq travelled to Mallorca to visit local artists’ studios, embedding our curation within the island’s landscape, materials, and artisanal traditions.
Across painting, sculpture, textiles, and glass, the collection responds intuitively to Mallorca’s elemental forces. Gestural mark-making and fluid forms echo the meeting of land and sea, while locally rooted techniques, such as glassblowing and sculpted natural materials, bring cultural depth and authenticity to the space.
Featuring works by Grason Ratowsky, Vanessa Wendland, and Cristina Vinyals, alongside bespoke prints by Artiq’s in-house designer, the collection balances organic movement with tactile surfaces, embodying the calming energy of the Mediterranean to create a relaxed but refined atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and fully inhabit the moment.

Cristina Vinyals is a Mallorcan artist whose work merges sustainable design with local craft traditions. Rooted in her architectural background, her work explores the relationship between material, landscape, and human intervention, resulting in sculptural pieces that feel both elemental and refined.
Drawing on Mallorca’s blown-glass heritage, she uses hand-made natural pigments sourced from stone, earth, and clay to transform glass that cannot be conventionally recycled. Her sculptural pieces explore the balance between fragility and resilience, bringing environmental sensitivity and a calm, grounded presence to Purobeach Oasis del Mar.

‘“I respond to landscape and site as living systems. Using reclaimed materials, I explore how light, time, and space can create moments of reflection and awareness around our relationship with nature.”’
