A firm believer in the power of creativity, Patrick McCrae is hosting the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, a celebration of the world's most creative spaces.
Artiq's very own Patrick McCrae is hosting this year's Restaurant & Bar Design Awards on October 19.
Whatever the sector, Patrick is a firm believer in the power of art and creativity to tell impactful stories and create community. The awards and the week of events leading up to it celebrate the world's most creative spaces and the inspiring individuals behind them.
This year's series of events that make up the Restaurant & Bar Design Week (October 17-19) explore the unique intersection between high-end cuisine and hospitality design. Spread throughout London and set across four days, the programme includes panel discussions and roundtables; it is an opportunity to hear from those behind today's projects and explore the issues defining tomorrow's.
Patrick will also be moderating two of these events: Dining on Design, a design talk with Elizabeth Woolford (Alexander Waterworth Interiors) and Johnny Smith (Owner, Luca Restaurant), discussing the connection between the design of Luca Restaurant and its cuisine, and What does the future hold? Restaurant and bar design 50 years from now, a round table discussion with a wide range of key industry figures asking and answering the question "What will a retrospective view in 2073 reveal about hospitality design?"
