Gala Bell is a London-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers on the alchemy of matter, exploring the transformative potential of materials across traditional painting and contemporary installation. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Bell’s work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including The Design Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum and Kunsthalle am Hamburger Platz, Berlin.
Her practice responds to the prismatic complexity of modern life, interrogating notions of value, taste, hierarchy, and absurd labour. Through innovative material use and process-driven approaches, Bell reimagines everyday structures and rituals, inviting audiences to reconsider their relationship with substance, space, and meaning.
