Kevin Anaafi-Brown is a British-Ghanaian photographer based in London. Kevin works primarily with analogue photography, interested in the patience and intention this process requires.
As a very tactile art form, it offers a unique intimacy able to capture nuances in the language of photography that are difficult to recreate in other formats. Aiming to capture a broad range of subjects in his work, Kevin is still largely informed by his own experiences.

As a queer artist, his work most often traces subject lines of blackness, queerness and gender, often displaying queer imagery through the use of vivid colours, themed settings and individual expression.
We had the pleasure of discovering Kevin through the 2022 Queer Frontiers artist open call. Since then, we have proudly placed Kevin's work in several London-based art collections.
