Sana Rao is an Indian expressionist artist living and working in London. She views her work as a form of personal meditation that guards against a modern, mechanised existence.
Working in silence, and guided by ‘calm’ Sana creates colourful, abstract works that depict the interactions between photo pigments and different water sources. Anchored by the patience and hope of the natural world, her work draws from the expressionist tradition and depicts her visions of a playful and symbiotic future.
