Artiq is a fast-growing international art agency that bridges the gap between business and art, connecting clients with the cultural world. Based in London, with a team of over 40 people and operating in over 20 countries, we collaborate with some of the world's most talented emerging artists to curate art collections for our clients. At the core of our business is our unique artwork leasing model.
Purpose of the role
We are looking to hire a dynamic and creative Art Consultant with a proven sales track record to join our team. An integral part of this role is pitching, presenting, and closing art rental collections for new clients in the workplace sector. In addition, business development, enhancing our reputation with key industry partners, and attracting potential new clients are key components of the position.
The ideal candidate should have a deep interest in art and design, as well as strong connections within the interior design, architecture or creative industries. They should excel at working with various stakeholders, ranging from small, independent businesses to C-suite teams at major corporations.

Key responsibilities
• Proactively identify and approach potential new clients across the workplace sector.
• Actively participate in events to meet and prospect new clients.
• Represent Artiq and cultivate relationships with key industry partners in the office fitout, furniture, interior design, architecture, and build sectors.
• Actively contribute to building and establishing a network of industry partners and business referrers.
• Generate a consistent pipeline of sales leads and opportunities.
• Pitch and present proposals to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Provide expert briefs to our internal curation team and serve as the point of contact throughout the project life cycle, ensuring a seamless journey from pitch to post-sale management.
• Efficiently close deals with speed, clarity, and profitability.

What we’re looking for
• Several years’ experience in B2B sales
• Strong networking skills
• Impeccable organisational skills, attention to detail and project management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional written and spoken English.

Salary
£25,000-£30,000 depending on experience, plus OTE/commission

Additional information
This is a full-time role based in our London office, with hybrid working.
Evening attendance at events and functions will be required.
