We are looking to hire a bright and organised Artist Administrator to join our team. The right candidate will be working closely with our Artist & Partnership Manager to continue to develop our network of artists and makers, manage Artiq's databases of artworks and contacts and work with the Operations team to ensure smooth communication with artists, archives and galleries.

Purpose of the role
• Actively research and meet creative talent, from emerging to mid-career and established artists and studios.
• Attend industry events, including relevant exhibitions, open studios, auctions and art fairs for networking purposes.
• Work with the Operations team to oversee the stocklist of incoming and outgoing artworks on the catalogue and in storage.
• Manage Artiq’s databases of artworks and contacts – weekly data entry and reporting to Artist & Partnership Manager.
• To assist in managing incoming works by existing artists and new signs.
• Assist in the management of Artiq’s catalogue, including but not limited to keeping track of the stocklist of incoming and outgoing artworks on the catalogue and in storage, ensuring images uploaded are of the highest quality, and updating and maintaining data.
• Ensure Artiq’s catalogue is kept up to date, overseeing freelance catalogue support to input new artworks and data as needed.
• Advise the Sales and Curatorial team on relevant awards, exhibitions and events regarding Artiq artists.
• Work with the manager and Operations team to ensure smooth communication with artists, archives and galleries.
• Be an ambassador for Artiq, with an emphasis on raising our profile in the art and creative industries.
• Attend and network at relevant exhibitions, open studios, auctions and art fairs, developing long-term relationships in the art world.
