Convene is a global lifestyle hospitality company that designs and operates a network of premium meeting, event, and flexible office spaces. Their spaces feature thoughtful amenities and award-winning design to help today's most innovative companies host their most important meetings and events.
Nestled between historic London landmarks in Paternoster Square, Convene Sancroft, St. Paul's is a unique 45,000-square-foot venue spanning two floors. The design of the location draws inspiration from the surrounding local craftsmanship and nearby contemporary architecture boasting a neutral backdrop that contrasts the bold interior design elements intended as a nod to the Elizabethan Era, including vibrant pops of colour, textured wall panelling, and intricate ceilings.

This was our fourth project with Convene, so our team has become well-versed in the company’s impeccable vision for design and attention to detail. The art strategy was developed in line with the wider interior themes and pays tribute to the ornate interiors and architecture of the Elizabethan Era, known for its opulent decor predominantly seen in homes, adding a theatrical and sophisticated playfulness to the space.
The art collection in the venue showcases work by artists living and working in the UK today. The dynamic between the historical references and their contemporary practices creates a dialogue between past and present and fosters a dynamic working environment that honours the area's rich heritage.

In addition to over 20 original artworks, our team procured and curated over 100 accessories across the two floors, containing a mix of small artist prints, playful sculptures, and a curated selection of books. Honouring the project's emphasis and its emphasis on mixing contemporary London with the Elizabethan era, we incorporated books that reflect this narrative, ranging from modern architecture and design to antique books.
This collection features, amongst others, Kathleen Mullaniff, Aleksandra Niemczyk, Hava Stone, Rachael Addise, Matthew Curtis-Knight, Sabrina Brouwers, and bespoke prints by our in-house creative team.
