Ninety One is a global asset management business founded in South Africa. Their art collection spotlights emerging artists from within South Africa's creative community.
Over three decades, Ninety One have been active investors, dreamers, drivers and builders who work to ensure they have a positive impact on both people and the planet.
Artiq worked with Ninety One's London office to curate a bold, captivating and expressive art rental collection that shines a light on emerging South African artists and creatives. From an Artiq-led open call, twenty-eight artists were selected, all of whom are emerging to mid-career artists living and working throughout South Africa.

This collection is a valuable, international platform for a rotating roster of emerging South African talent and demonstrates Artiq and Ninety One's shared interest in supporting the professional growth of artists and their practices. The collection was leased for an initial 18-month period, which has since been extended, with new artists and their stories added to the exhibition.
The exhibiting artworks are a journey into each artist's mind and a celebration of their culture, history, and community. This collection can be enjoyed as an open window, looking directly into the heart of South Africa's artistic landscape.
