Jacelyn Zhen is a Singaporean visual artist and designer featured in our art rental collections for CFC Underwriting and EQT London. Practicing under the moniker Bbblob, her work is a rhythmic exploration of transience, captured through the observation of organic forms and the human body in motion. Influenced by her background in design, Zhen’s practice centers on the delicate balance between shape, colour, and structural integrity.
She collects and reconfigures fragments of the natural world, translating fleeting moments into permanent, layered compositions. What began as an exploration of paper collage has matured into a sophisticated language of wooden reliefs and sculptural pieces. In these works, layering introduces a play of depth and shadow, where soft yet vibrant hues unfold across hand-assembled surfaces.
